Oyster mushroom is a plant that grows affected of temperature and humidity chamber and consistency during treatment. Oyster mushrooms grow well require temperatures between 22-24 °C and humidity of 80-90% RH. Results are not optimal and may fail if the factors that influence can’t be reached. In order to facilitate the treatment then created an instrument that can control the temperature and humidity automatically. Prototype system temperature and humidity control is implemented using ATmega32 microcontroller as processing system and Visual Basic software as the interface. SHT11 sensor is used as a detector of temperature and humidity on the miniature plant. To achieve the temperature and humidity in the chamber used heatsink fan, peltier and water sprayer. Heatsink fan and sprayer would work if the temperature and humidity is above the set point. PID control is used to control the heatsink fan that implemented through a microcontroller. Based on the experiment of tuning parameters using the Ziegler-Nichols oscillation method, when Kp=23, Ki=1 and Kd=128 for a setpoint temperature of 24 °C was obtained plant's response to the temperature for rise time 178 seconds, 345 seconds settling time and 0.16 % steady state error, while using classical tuning method with parameters Kp=38, Ki=1 dan Kd=3 for the set point temperature of 24 °C was obtained 109 seconds rise time, 196 seconds settling time and 0.16% steady state error. From both these methods, was obtained the best results when using classical tuning method. In other words, temperature control using these methods have error below 2%, it shows that the temperature control system is worthy to be used. Neither the on/off control for the desired humidity is appropriate.
