An attendance system has been created based on RFID with door access control and attendance system is implemented in the laboratory. The application of RFID technology can be applied to the student card and used for attendance, so students no longer perform signature in hopes to do more quickly, effectively, and safely. The rooms that have limited access only students who can access the room is needed an Door Access Control. Researched attendance system based on Arduino microcontroller with RC522 Mifare reader module to read RFID tags. The system is equipped with a magnetic door lock as locking the door access control using relay as a control switch. Implementation of the interface using Delphi 7 integrated with the serial communication hardware system. Data recorded is time attendance and departure stored in the MS Access database 2010. Overall implementation of RFID based attendance system with door access control goes well with the tracks and the algorithm that has been designed. Just tag serial number has been registered in a database that can confirm their attendance and access open door of the lab. With the ability of the average distance between the maximum reading of the tag is 4,2 cm to various types of tags, the use of RFID effective enough to confirm their attendance by touchless.
