2015 | Skripsi | FMIPA UGMMagnetic nanoparticle of Manganese Ferrite ( MnFe2O4) have been successfully encapsulated with various concentration of PEG-4000. MnFe2O4 powder synthesized by coprecipitation method. X-ray Diffraction (XRD) showed the decrease of nanoparticle size, from13,6 nm to 7,3 nm, XRD also showed ??Fe2O3 phases ratio was increased, which is antiferromagnetic. The Result of Fourier Transform Infra-Red spectroscopy showed the peak shift of C-O at 1103,28 cm-1 which is the stucture bond of PEG and the peak shift of Metal-Oxide (Mn-O) at 470,63cm-1 which is a uniform pattern of Manganese Ferrite. Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) analysis show that process of encapsulation by PEG-4000 increasing coercivity field from 66,51Oe to 132,50 Oe, decreasing saturation from 18,93 emu/g to 12,73 and remanent magnetization from 2,04 emu/g to 1,50 emu/g.
