In the joint project, there are numerous conflicts that may occur. One of the main factor causes conflicts among involved participants is cost. Dissatisfaction among involved participants regarding the ways of cost allocation is ordinary, nevertheless, the problem of cost allocation still causes conflicts among involved participants that must be solved. In in this paper, we discuss the various methods of cost allocation and its underlying concepts. They are proportional allocation method, core allocation method, standart two solution allocation method, least core allocation method, and prenucleolus allocation method. Good cost allocation method is a method that meets the principles of individual rationality and group rationality. Among the methods of allocation which will be discussed, prenucleolus cost allocation method is a method of allocation that meets both these principles and provide a single solution. Several methods of allocation that provides a single solution furthermore applied to the problem of water distribution project Kima Bajo village.
