2015 | Skripsi | FMIPA UGMSouth Sumatera Basin known, it has many formations that have potential as hydrocarbon reservoir, one of this is Muara Enim formation that is to be a research target. Muara Enim lithology such as coal and interbeded between sand and shale. The researcher uses seismic inversion methode of accoustic impedance and AVO analysis for predicting sandstone character in Kame field. Seismic inversion give information about physic parameter such as lihtology border, thickness and direction of deployment, whereas AVO can indicated the precent of hydrocarbon. Seismic inversion used is model based, whereas the AVO attribute used is this research is AxB product. Accoustic impedance value of sandstone in this research has ranged from 18000-28000 ((ft/s)*(g/cc)). From this AVO attribute product AxB, it is indicated that there is hydrocarbon exciting in sandstone reservoir. From AVO analysis, there is AVO anomaly class I notice by accoustic impedance value of sandstone which is higher than the seal (shale)
