2014 | Disertasi | PROGRAM STUDI S-2 FISIKAThe laser power optimation of CO2 laser photoacoustic spectrometer had been conducted. The system generates 4 laser group with laser power of (57±3) W and the lowest detection limit for this setup is ( ) ppbv for ethylene gas in 10P14 CO2 laser line. Then, this photoacoustic spectrometer is used to identified scrubber’s adsorptivity of ethylene gas. The parameters of scrubber adsorbtivity characterization are active material consentration, diameter of adsorbent material, and adsorption capacity. The result is scrubber’s adsorptivity raised with increasing the concentration of active agent (KMnO4) and decreasing diameter of adsorbent (zeolit). Adsorption capacity of scrubber with KMnO4 concentration of 4 %, zeolit diameter of 1,4 mm is measured to be 96 ppmlitre/gram. At room temperature, 5 gram of scrubber with KMnO4 consentration of 4% and zeolit diameter of 1,4 mm could extend the shelf life of cut fruit for 3 days longer than shelf life of control cut fruit
