The selection of the best conference papers is an appreciation that can be provided by the organizers of the seminar to the authors of papers. In addition to a number of papers, differences in style and judgment of the reviewer, the diversity and complexity of the various sciences; objectivity of the assessment is a challenge for organizers of seminars to choose the best conference papers in hopes the resulting decision is acceptable to all parties. This thesis proposes a decision support system application to select the best conference papers with decision models created from quantitative methods and profile matching methods. Several criteria of best papers used are the relationship with the themes, field, acceptance papers, and presentations.In addition to accommodate a variety of criteria used, the model is set up to accommodate different styles and assessment of the diversity and complexity reviewer various sciences. By using a model which has been designed, decision support systems built can provide the alternative about the best of seminar papers, in accordance with the criteria used and can accommodate a variety of interests that exist
