This thesis describes about the parameter estimation of the Beta Modified Weibull Distribution model using the R program. The Beta Modified Weibull Distribution is a result of the distribution modification the function Beta and Modified Weibull distribution which have 5 parameters. The distribution of the Beta Modified Weibull has some specific submodels for some parameters which are given a certain value. Beta ModifiedWeibull distribution is very suitable for describing the survival data with hazard function in the form of bathtub. This is done by comparing with some submodels. From the value of AIC and BIC the Beta Modified Distribution is less than others submodels
