The rapid advances in the sector of information technology has discovered a new era, the era of information which can be expected for accessing and achieving an accurate, fast and precise information. Including the sector of population data analyzing on The Central Bureau of Statistics on Salatiga, which aims to analyze population data, for example; to discover total populations, the number of head of family according to criteria of family type, and amount of income per capita at certain periods, which it can be helpful for planning and arrange a policy in order to increase the quality of the population. There are many application developments that have been widely used in the institutional purposes to process the data and present the informations, but they terms temporary and incapable to store the data histories. Therefore, this study applied a database technology that can store historical value of data which known as data warehouse technology, and built using the Delphi 7 programming language, where the database warehouse use MySQL server 5 and the multidimensional data processing using Contour Cube component. From the results of data processing, information can be obtained by applying multidimensional OLAP technology (drill down, roll up, sorting, and filtering) which includes the amount of population based the dimensions, information about the economy of the population in each region according to the indicator. The implementation result will represent that total population appropriate its dimensional will always changing and the economy development in a region experiences increase or decrease, which can aid in determining government’s policies to arrange plannings in order to increase the population’s welfare on Salatiga.
