Sambas Polytechnic Student Information Management Study Program provided a variety of practical skills in the field. To apply a combination of these practices in a business entity, students are required to attend On the Job Training (OJT). In determining the location of street vendors, a common problem is a mismatch in the placement of student competencies needed by the company OJT place. To overcome these problems requires a computer system in the form of a decision support system that can help determine the suitability of students required by the location of street vendors. This study is aimed at developing a web-based system to support student placement decisions. The method used is the profile matching with GAP analysis to search student profiles that have a value as close as possible to the value profile of the desired profile by the company / institution where street vendors. This system was based on the hope system web is dynamic and the addition or subtraction of criteria needs to be a reference in the assessment. The end result of the process of profile matching is in the form of the value of student profiles ranks merchandisers that will be placed on one company.
