KOREKSI EFEK PULL-UP PADA DATA SEISMIK MENGGUNAKAN METODE PRE STACK DEPTH MIGRATION (PSDM); CORRECTING THE PULL-UP EFFECT IN SEISMIC DATA USING PRE STACK DEPTH MIGRATION METHOD (PSDM)

2013 | Skripsi | PROGRAM STUDI GEOFISIKAPre-Stack Depth Migration had been used to analyze seismic line data “SS” focused on identifying pull-up effect and improving the quality of seismic section. Moreover, Pre-Stack Depth Migration method is used to understand whether the pull-up effect has the minimum pull-up quality or maximum pull-up.It is based on the fact that the pull up effect is not only able to have the real quality but also apparent quality. Pre-Stack Depth Migration method is expected to be able to display the better seismic section to identify the layer and appearance of pull-up effect Pre-Stack Depth Migration uses the RMS velocity data which is transformed to produce the interval velocity using dix transformation. The interval velocity would be created its interval velocity model and used in the process of depth domain migration. The interval velocity experiences progress of its model until gets the best seismic section. There is the result of research discovering that pull-up effect in “SS” line. It is the pull-up effect which has maximum quality or it is only the apparent pull-up effect.
