Theoretical studies about the dynamics of surface plasmon polariton (SPPs) on 1- layer graphene material has been studied. Researcher use Drude-Lorentz model to produced dispersion relation curve and attenuated total reflection curve (ATR). This is the first step to develop a kind of biosensor whose capability is to analysed and axamined object by using coupling frequency between graphene surface plasmon and evanescent wave (EW) of laser source. Surface Plasmon is generated by an electromagnetic wave with polarization p which propagate on the interface between graphene and dielectric, using kretschmann configuration. In this research, researcher used graphene whose thickness 30 nm, 40 nm, and 50 nm at constant incident angle 45o. At thickness 30 nm, the observed coupling frequency is 9,7 x 104 m-1 but after thickness of graphene had been increased until 40 nm and 50 nm, the observed coupling frequency became 9,60x104m-1 dan 9,42x104 m-1.
