2013 | Disertasi | PROGRAM STUDI S2 ILMU FISIKAAcetone gas detection has been performed in human breath use the Photoacoustic Spectrometer (PAS). PAS system used intracavity configuration by CO2 laser as the radiation source. PAS has been calibrated with an acetone gas standard, and we obtained the normalized photoacoustic signal was (0.420 ± 0.005) mV / W. By optimizing the laser power it has obtained that the lowest detection limit (BDT) was (1.310 ± 0.001) ppb. The Photoacoustic spectrometer has successfully distinguished the average of acetone gas concentration from volunteer patients with diabetes was (0.10 ± 0.09) ppm and diabetes mellitus patients with renal impairment (CKD) was (0.41 ± 0.09) ppm.
