It has been done a research the seismic data processing to update the velocity model by horizon based tomography method in SBI Field, North West Java Basin. This method reduce error of seismic wave traveltime through the analyzed horizon because the existence speed of high lateral variation in research area, so that the PSDM is accurate, close to the real geology structure, and can be used for interpreting phase. There are three parameters to determine the resulting interval velocity model is accurate, namely: (1) depth Gathers was flat, (2) semblance residual moveout coincide with the axis has zero residual movout, and (3) the correspondence between image depth (horizon ) with marker wells (well seismic tie).
