PENGARUH SKOR KONDISI TUBUH ( SKT ) TERHADAP PERFORMA REPRODUKSI SAPI POTONG DI WILAYAH KERJA INSEMINATOR GABUS II KABUPATEN GROBOGAN

Skor Kondisi Tubuh adalah sistem penilaian umum yang dikembangkan untuk memperkirakan kondisi tubuh sapi yang berbasis pada evaluasi timbunan lemak. Penelitian – penelitian menunjukkan SKT berpengaruh terhadap performa reproduksi sapi potong. Kondisi SKT yang baik meningkatkakan performa reproduksi sapi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh SKT terhadap performa reproduksi sapi yang ada di wilayah kerja inseminator Gabus II dengan melihat nilai dari Service per Conception, Conception Rate dan Pregnancy Rate. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 1 62 ekor sapi betina di wilayah kerja inseminator Gabus II, sapi tersebut dibagi dalam 5 kelompok SKT. Kelompok I sapi SKT 2 sebanyak 12 ekor, Kelompok II sapi SKT 2.5 sebanyak 55 ekor, Kelompok III sapi SKT 3 sebanyak 72 ekor, kelompok IV sapi SKT 3,5 sebanyak 9 ekor dan kelompok V sapi SKT 4 sebanyak 14 ekor. Hasil penelitian didapat nilai S/C, CR dan PR dari masing-masing kelompok SKT berturut-tururut adalah 1.4, 1.8, 1.6, 2, 1.7 untuk SC, 66 %, 49 %, 63 %, 44 %, 57 % untuk CR, dan 83 %, 65 %, 76 %, 55 %, 71 % untuk PR. Hasil penelitian tidak menunjukkan adanya pengaruh SKT terhadap performa reproduksi sapi di Kecamatan Gabus.

BCS is a common assessment system developed to estimate the cow's body condition based on the evaluation of flab. In a research of BCS explain that BCS affect the reproductive performance of beef cattle. The good condition of BCS can increase the reproductive performance of cows. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of BCS on reproductive performance of co ws in the working area of Gabussub-district inseminator II by looking at the value of the Service per Conception, Conception Rate and Pregnancy Rate. A total of 162 cows in the Gabussub-district inseminator II were used in this study. The cows were divided into 5 groups of BCS. Group I based on BCS2 consist of 12 cows, group II based on BCS 2,5 consist of 55 cows, group III based on BCS 3 consist of 72 cows, group IV based on BCS 3.5 consist of 9 cows, and group V based on BCS 4 consist of 14 cows. The result of the study found that the value of S / C, CR and PR of each BCS group consecutively were 1.4, 1.8, 1.6, 2, 1.7 for SC, 66%, 49%, 63%, 44%, 57% for CR, and 83%, 65%, 76%, 55%, 71% for PR. The results showed there is no effect of BCS on reproductive per formance of the cows in Gabus sub-district.
