PENGARUH KUALITAS ESTRUS TERHADAP PERFORMA REPRODUKSI SAPI POTONG DI WILAYAH KERJA INSEMINATOR GABUS II KABUPATEN GROBOGAN

Performa reproduksi sapi dapat dilihat dari beberapa parameter diantaranya adalah Conception Rate (CR), Pregnancy Rate (PR) dan Service per Conception (S/C). Performa reproduksi tersebut dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu salah satunya dari kualitas estrus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh kualitas estrus masing-masing kelompok sapi terhadap performa reproduksi sapi potong di Kecamatan Gabus. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara pengumpulan data dari petugas inseminator wilayah kerja Gabus II dan melalui pengamatan langsung. Data diambil sebanyak 162 sampel sapi yang menunjukkan variasi kualitas estrus kemudian dikelompokkan dengan memberikan skor 1, 2, dan 3 dilihat dari kebengkakan, warna mukosa dan lendir yang dihasilkan. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dihitung dan dianalisa menggunakan uji statistik ANOVA OneWay. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas estrus berpengaruh terhadap CR dan PR sapi potong di Kecamatan Gabus namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap S/C sapi potong di Kecamatan Gabus.

Cow’s reproduction performance can be observed in some parameters, that are Conception Rate, Pregnancy Rate and Service per Conception. One of the factor affecting the performance is the quality of estrus. The research aim to find out the information of the influence of estrus performances to cow’s reproductive performances in Kecamatan Gabus. Data were taken from artificial inseminator in Gabus II area and self observation. Data were taken from 162 cows with different estrus signs. They were grouped by the quality of estrus that were scored from 1 to 3 based on swollen of vulva, mucosa appearance and servical mucus. Data collected were included name, estrous parameter, insemination taken and insemination results. The data collected were analyze based on ANOVA OneWay statistic test and analyze descriptively. Based on the data result we can conclude that estrous quality influence CR and PR but did not influence S/C of cows in Kecamatan Gabus, Grobogan Regency.
