Kolibasilosis adalah salah satu penyakit pada unggas yang disebabkan oleh beberapa serotipe Escherichia coli yang bersifat patogen dan dapat menyerang ayam dari berbagai kelompok umur. Vitachick ® merupakan multivitamin dan antibiotik yang memiliki fungsi untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan ayam, mencegah stres dan meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh terhadap penyakit. Tujuan dari penelit ian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian Vitachick ® terhadap gambaran darah br oiler yang telah diinfeksi Escherichia coli. B roiler 21 ekor dibagi menjadi 3 kelom pok, masing - masing 7 ekor dipelihara sejak umur 1 hari Day Old Chick (DOC) hingga 35 hari. Kelompok I diinfeksi Escherichia coli dengan dosis 10 8 cfu/ml/ekor per oral umur 21 hari , kelompok II diberi Vitachick ® umur 14- 35 hari dengan dosis 0,7 g/L kemudian diinfeksi Escherichia coli um ur 21 hari dengan dosis 10 8 cfu/ml/ekor per oral, kelompok III sebagai kontrol tanpa infeksi dan tanpa pemberian Vitachick ® . Hari ke- 35 broiler dinekropsi untuk isolasi dan identifikasi Escherichia coli serta pemeriksaan profil darah. Jantung digunakan sebagai sempel, kemudian di lakukan penanaman pada media Eosin Methylene Blue (EMB) . Satu sampel dari kelompok perlakuan yang positif di media EMB kemdian dilakukan pengecatan Gram , dan uji lanjut penanaman pada Triple Sugar Iron (TSI) , dan keperluan uji IMViC meliputi Indole , methyl red (MR), Voges- Proskauer (VP), dan citrat. Sebanya k 4 ekor broiler diambil sebagai sampel untuk pemeriksaan profil darah yang diambil melalui vena brachialis. Data hasil pemeriksaan darah dianalisis dengan metode one way Analysis of Variance ( ANOVA) . Hasil isolasi dan identifikasi menunjukkan kelompok KI dan kelom pok KII dipastikan terinfeksi Escherichia coli. Hasil pemeriksaan darah menunjukkan broiler yang diinfeksi Escherichia coli dengan dosis 10 8 cfu/ml/ekor per oral dan diberi penambahan Vitachick ® melalui air minum mempunyai gambaran darah tida k berbeda dengan broiler yang tidak diberi Vitachick ® .

Colibacillosis is one of poultries diseases caused by some Escherichia coli serotypes that are pathogenic and can attack a chicken from a variety of age. Vitachick ® is a multivitamin and antibiotic that ha s functions to enhance the growth of chicken, preventing stress and increase the durability of the body against disease. The purpose of this research is to find out t he influence of granting V itachick ® against a bro iler ’ s blood values in which has been infected by Escherichia coli. Twenty one broile rs are divided into three groups , each seven broilers domesticated since the age of one Day Old Chick (DOC ) to 35 days old. Group one are infected by Escherrichia coli on the dosage of 10 8 /cfu/ml/chicken orally at age of 21 days old. Group two KII are given Vitachick ® on the dosage of 0,7g/L at age of 14 days old and than infected by Escherichia coli on the dosage of 10 8 /cfu/m l/chicken orally at age of 21 days old. Group three KIII as a control are not infected and without grating Vtachick ® . At the age of 35 days old, broilers are necropsied for Escherichia coli identification test and blood samples test. The heart used to be a sample, an d then using to planting on Eosin Methyle ne Blue (EMB) media. One sample witch one positive in EMB use to Gram coloring test, Triple Sugar Iron (TSI), and IMViC test is including Indole , methyl red (MR), Voges- Proskauer (VP), dan citrat. As much as four broiler are use as sample for bloo d values samples are taken trough brachial vein. The blood samples result data are analyzed by one way Analysis of Variance ( ANOVA) method. Form the isolation test and identification test result, show that Group KI and KII are surely infected by Escherichia coli. The results showed that broiler s which are infected by Escherichia coli on the dosage of 10 8 cfu/m l/chicken and given additional Vitachick ® through drinking water , the boold values isn’t r eally different form the broiler wich are not given Vitachick ® .
