PENGARUH TRANSPORTASI JARAK PENDEK TERHADAP PERUBAHAN GAMBARAN TOTAL DAN DIFERENSIAL LEUKOSIT KAMBING PERANAKAN ETTAWA (Caprae hircus) DI KULON PROGO

2013 | Skripsi |Transportasi selama satu jam biasanya dilakukan oleh peternak dari kandang ke pasar atau dari kandang ke sentra peternakan kambing setempat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek transportasi selama satu jam terhadap perubahan gambaran leukosit dan diferensial leukosit kambing bligon. Kambing tersebut diangkut dari kecamatan Girimulyo ke kecamatan Nanggulan berjarak 35 km dengan menggunakan mobil bak terbuka kecepatan 35 km/jam. Sampel darah diambil melalui vena jugularis pada saat awal transportasi, akhir transportasi dan tujuh hari setelah transportasi. Pemeriksaan darah dilakukan di laboratorium Patologi klinik, Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta. Data yang diperoleh rata-rata jumlah leukosit pada saat awal transportasi, akhir transportasi dan 7 hari setelah transportasi berturut-turut adalah 7975 sel/mm3, 8833,33 sel/mm3, dan 8308,33 sel/mm3. Gambaran rata-rata jumlah diferensial leukosit pada awal transportasi, akhir transportasi dan 7 hari setelah transportasi berturut-turut adalah neutofil segmented 3276,66 sel/mm3, 4520,16 sel/mm3, 3178,67 sel/mm3, limfosit 4109,167 sel/mm3, 3845,417 sel/mm3, 4767,167 sel/mm3, eosinofil 184,08 sel/mm3, 75,67 sel/mm3, 84,75 sel/mm3, monosit 405,08 sel/mm3, 392,17 sel/mm3, 277,83 sel/mm3. Hasil analisis anova menunjukkan bahwa transportasi jarak pendek tidak menunjukkan perubahan yang signifikan terhadap gambaran darah leukosit (p>0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah transportasi selama satu jam tidak berpengaruh terhadap gambaran darah leukosit.
The routine transportation of cross-bred ettawa does between farm and market or other cities for slaughtering has been running almost everyday. The length of time of transportation is various. There it can start short distance or long distance. The aim of research to know the effects of one hour toward of changing leukocytes and differential leukocytes such as basophils, eosinophils, limphocyts, monocyte and neutrophils in cross-bred ettawa das. All animals were transportation in pick up truck from Girimulyo to Nanggulan (± 35 km) within one hour. Blood sample was drawn from jugular vein about 3 ml, at the time before transportation, after transportation, and seven days after transportation. The blood sample was used for leukocytes examination. The result showed that count of leucocyte and differential leucocytes before transportation, after transportation and sevent days after transportation 797 cells/mm3, 8833,3 cells/mm3, and 8308 cells/mm3, segmented neutrophils 3276,66 cells/mm3, 4520,1 cells/mm3, 3178,67 cell/mm3; lymphocyte 4109,167 cell/mm3, 3845,417 cells/mm3, 4767,167 cells/mm3, eosinophils 184,08 cells/mm3, 75,67 cells/mm3, 84,75 cells/mm3, monocytes 405,08 cell/mm3, 392,17 cells/mm3, 277,83 cells/mm3 respectly. The anova analysis showed that one hour transportation could not effected to the total leukocytes, monocytes, lymphocytes and eosinophils but it can effect to the count of neutrophils significantly. The conclusion of this research is short distance transportation does not affect to the profile of leukocytes.
