Studi Morfologi dan Distribusi Saraf Nitrerjik pada Lambung Luwak

Luwak (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) termasuk ordo Carnivora yang tergolong famili Viverridae. Hewan ini bersifat nokturnal dan hidupnya arboreal. Neuronal nitric oxid synthase (nNOS) merupakan neurotransmitter yang berfungsi mengatur motilitas mukosa dan muskularis lambung, tekanan otot polos, peredaran darah serta integritas mukosa lambung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui distribusi saraf nitrerjik lambung. Tiga luwak dengan berat badan masing-masing 370 g dianestesi dengan ketamine 50 mg/kg BB secara IM, diperfusi intrakardia dengan NaCl 0,9 % dilanjutkan dengan fiksasi formalin 4% . Lambung diambil pada bagian kardia, fundus dan pilorus 1 cm sebagai preparat potong beku dan lainnya dipersiapkan sebagai preparat utuh kemudian diwarnai dengan pewarnaan nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate-diaphorase ( NADPH-d). Badan sel saraf dan serabut saraf nitrerjik ditemukan pada tunika muskularis (pleksus mienterikus) dan tunika serosa kardia, fundus, dan pilorus. Bentuk badan sel bervariasi multipolar dan bipolar, dengan dominasi multipolar. Ukuran ganglia bervariasi di kardia tersusun atas 15-20 sel/ganglion, di fundus 25-35sel /ganglion, dan di pilorus 40-45sel/ganglion. Serabut saraf pada kardia berbentuk seperti jaring laba-laba, fundus berbentuk segiempat sedangkan pilorus berbentuk segienam. Kata kunci : luwak, lambung, distribusi, nitrerjik, NADPH-d

Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) is from the ordo Carnivora under the family Viverridae. This animal is nocturnal and arboreal. Neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS) is a neurotransmitter that functions to regulate the motility of the stomach mucosa, smooth muscle pressure, blood circulation and integrity of stomach mucosa. The purpose of this study is to know the distribution of nerves in the stomach of the luwak. Three civets with a weight of 370 gr each were anesthetized with ketamine, 50 mg/kg body weight, intra muscularly. Then they were perfused intracardially with NaCl 0,9% and then fixated with formaline 4%. One cm sections of the stomach were taken from the cardia, fundic and pyloric regions of the stomach. The sections were used as whole specimens, prepared as cryosection specimen and stained with nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate-diaphorase (NADPH-d). The nerve cell bodies and nitrerjic nerve fibers were found at the tunica muscularis (plexus myenterikus) and tunica serosa of the cardia, fundic and pyloric. The shape of the cell body varied between multipolar and bipolar, with multipolar domination. The size of the ganglia varied whereby in the cardia there were 15 to 20 cells/ganglion, in the fundic 25 to 35 cells/ganglion and in the pyloric 40 to 45 cells/ganglion. The nerve fibers in the cardia were shaped like spider webs, in the fundic square shaped and in the pyloric hexagonally shaped. Key words: civet, stomach, distribution, nitrerjic, NADPH-d
