KOMPETENSI AKUNTAN INDONESIA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kompetensi akuntan yang diperlukan dalam pekerjaan akuntan. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah para akuntan, calon akuntan, dan pengguna jasa akuntan. yang berjumlah 556 orang di 9 propinsi yang ada di Indonesia.
Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode survei dengan menyebarkan kuesioner baik secara langsung maupun melalui pos. Metode statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah one sample t-test. Korelasi bivariat Pearson Product Moment digunakan untuk menguji korelasi antar variabel.
Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi fungsional, kompetensi personal, kompetensi perspektif bisnis luas diperlukan dalam pekerjaan akuntan. Dan ketiga variabel kompetensi tersebut mempunyai hubungan yang sangat luat.
This research intends to identify the required accountant competency in the performance of accountant profession's scope of work. Respondents participated in this research are accountants, aspirant accountants, and users of accountant services, which is 556 people in numbers taken from nine provinces across Indonesia.
The collecting of the data in this research conducted by survey method by means of disseminating questionnaires either directly or by post service. The statistic method performed in order to tests the hypothesis is one sample t-test. The correlation of Pearson Product Moment bivariate is use in order to test that of correlation.
The result of this research analysis shows that functional competency, personal competency, and business perspective competency definitely required by accountant in his or her operation. Those three variables of competency have a strong and definite relation.
