Corporate governance merupakan tata kelola perusahaan yang menjelaskan hubungan antara berbagai partisipan dalam perusahaan yang menentukan arah kinerja perusahaan. Penerapan prinsip Good Corporate Governance (GCG) diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat bagi manajemen dan karyawan perusahaan, pemangku kepentingan (stakeholders) dan berbagai pihak terkait seperti konsumen, pemasok (supplier), pemerintah dan lingkungan masyarakat (publik) dimana perusahaan tersebut beroperasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penilaian kualitatif mengenai kualitas penerapan GCG di PT Pupuk Kaltim dengan menggunakan Prinsip Akuntabilitas & Responsibilitas pada tingkat Dewan Direksi dan Dewan Eksekutif. Model peratingan yang digunakan adalah model yang dikembangkan oleh Center of Good Corporate Governance (CGCG) Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penerapan prinsip Accountability & Responsibility GCG pada tingkat Dewan Direksi dan Dewan Eksekutif di PT Pupuk Kaltim secara keseluruhan menunjukan hasil yang baik.
Corporate governance describes the relationship between the various participants in a company that determines the direction of the companys performance. Application of the principle of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is expected to provide benefits to management and employees, stakeholders (stakeholders) and other related parties such as consumers, suppliers (suppliers), government and community (public) in which it operates. This study aims to provide a qualitative assessment of the quality of GCG at PT Pupuk Kaltim using the principle of accountability & responsibility at the Board of Directors and Board of Executive. Rating model used is a model developed by the Center for Good Corporate Governance (CGCG) Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). The results showed that application of the principle of Good Corporate Governance Accountability & Responsibility at the level of the Board of Directors and the Board of Executive of PT Pupuk Kaltim overall showed good results.
