Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Jumlah Siswa Serta Kondisi Return to Scale SMK Adi Sanggoro

SMK Adi Sanggoro merupakan SMK yang terakreditasi pada ke tiga jurusannya. Penyelenggara tunggal di kabupaten Bogor untuk jurusan Survei Pemetaan dan Geologi Pertambangan. Walaupun seperti itu, ternyata pengeluaran mereka dari Juli 2007 hingga Juni 2012 lebih besar daripada pendapatannya. Karena tidak ingin mengambil resiko terhadap citra mereka, maka pihak SMK Adi Sanggoro tidak menempuh kebijakan menurunkan pengeluaran atau biaya sekolah, maupun meningkatkan SPP dan uang masuk. Oleh karenanya, jalan yang dipandang optimal untuk menanggulangi tingginya pengeluaran atau biaya SMK Adi Sanggoro adalah dengan cara meningkatkan jumlah siswa. Karena itu, penelitian ini disusun untuk mengevaluasi 1) faktor apa sajakah yang secara signifikan mempengaruhi kenaikan siswa SMK tersebut, serta 2) bagaimana kondisi return to scale yang dimiliki SMK Adi Sanggoro. Untuk mengetahui itu semua, digunakanlah pendekatan fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas untuk melihat apakah model pendekatan yang dipakai sudah menggambarkan kondisi yang ada pada SMK Adi Sanggoro. Hasil yang didapat untuk periode yang dipakai selama 60 bulan (Juli 2007-Juni 2012) adalah jumlah guru, staff pendukung, serta biaya operasional berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap model yang ada, tetapi biaya kapital tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan. Kondisi lainnya adalah, SMK Adi Sanggoro pada saat periode penelitian tersebut masih mengalami kondisi increasing return to scale.

Therefore, the optimal path is deemed to cope with the high expenses or costs SMK Adi Sanggoro is to increase the number of students. Therefore, this study designed to evaluate 1) what are the factors that significantly affect the increase in vocational students, and 2) how the condition of return to scale are owned by Adi Sanggoro Vocational School. To know it all, the approach is used Cobb-Douglas production function to see if the model approach has been used to describe the existing condition of Adi Sanggoro Vocational School. The results for the period used for 60 months (July 2007-June 2012) is the number of teachers, support staff, as well as operating costs significantly affect the existing model, but the cost of capital is not significant. Other conditions are, Adi Sanggoro Vocational School during the study period are still experiencing increasing return to scale conditions.
