Identifikasi Sektor Unggulan Dalam Pertumbuhan Propinsi Kalimantan Selatan

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi sektor
unagulan Propinsi Kalimantan Selatan selama kurun waktu
193-198, Data yang diaunakan dalam penelitian ini
adalah data sekunder berupa Produk Domestik Regional
Bruto (PDRB) Propinsi Kalimantan Selatan dan Produk
Domestik Bruto Indonsia yanu diperoleh dari Kantor
Statisti Propinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Metode analisis
yang diugunakan dalam peneiitian ini adalah locational
quotient (LQ), model rasio pertumbuhan, dan total shift
share (TSS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa sektor
unggulan Propinsi Kalimantan adalah sektor
pertanian, sektor pertambangan dan galian,dan sektor
pengakutan dan komunikasi. Sektor-Sektor ini unggul
baik pada kriteria pangsa maupun pertumhuhannya.
Sementara sektor potnsial adalah sektor industri
pengolahan, sekrtor perdagangan, hotel den restoran, dan
sektor jasa-jasa. Propimsi Kalimantan Selatan mempunyai
kekuatan pada faktor lokasional, tatapi lemah pada
faktor Struktural.
Ths research attempts to identify the leading
sectors in the Province of South Kalimantan for the
period of 1993- 1998. The data used in research are secondary data, namely the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDRP) of the province and Grose Domestic Product (GDP)of Indonesia obtained from the Provincial Statistics Office of the South Kalimantan. The analysis methods applied in this research are location quotient(LQ), growth-ratio model,and total shift share.The results of this research indicate that the leading sectors of the Province are agriculture mining and quarrying and transport and communication sector, based on their contribution and their growth criteria. While the potential sectors are manufacturing industry, trade, hotel and restaurant, and services sectors. The Province of South Kalimantan ha comparative strengths on locational factors, but it has comparative weaknesses on structural factors.
