FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PERKEMBANGAN INDUSTRI KECIL DI KOTAMADYA AMBON PROPINSI MALUKU

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan dan faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi industri kecil di Propinsi Maluku tahun 1984 - 1998. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga untuk mengetahui berbagai kekuatan dan kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Data primer menggunakan populasi sebagai responden untuk mengetahui faktor internal dan eksternal, sedangkan data sekunder berupa PDRB dan Maluku Dalam Angka untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan, pengaruh tenaga kerja dan investasi pada produksi industri kecil. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah pertumbuhan rata-rata, regresi linear berganda dengan metode Ordinary Least Square serta analisis SWOT. Hasil analisis, menunjukkan bahwa perekonomian mengalami pertumbuhan rata-rata 4,78 persen per tahun. Perkembangan industri kecil menunjukkan unit usaha meningkat rata-rata 10,24 persen per tahun, tenaga kerja telah meningkat rata-rata 20,10 persen per tahun, nilai investasi meningkat rata-rata 38,69 persen per tahun dan nilai produksi meningkat ratarata 41,79 persen per tahun, demikian pula dengan basil analisis per unit usaha menunjukkan investasi meningkat rata-rata 25,72 persen per tahun, nilai produksi meningkat rata-rata 24,86 persen per tahun, sedangkan untuk tenaga kerja meningkat rata-rata hanya 2,06 persen per tahun.Hasil regresi OLS menunjukkan faktor investasi meningkat sebesar 1%, mempengaruhi kenaikan produksi sebesar 0,722 %, tenaga dan
produksi tahun sebelumnya mempengaruhi kenaikan produksi namun secara statistik tidak signifikan. Analisis SWOT telah menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal ikut serta mempengaruhi perkembangan industri kecil di Kotamadya Ambon.
This research attempts to analyze the development of small-scale industries and the factors influencing the production of small-scale industries in the Province of Maluku for the period of 1984-1998. In addition, this
research also identifies the strength, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of small-scale industries.
The data used in this research are primary and secondary data. The primary data used the population as the respondents to identify the internal and external factors, where as the secondary data used the Gross Regional
Domestics Product of Maluku to identify the growth and influence of labor force and investment on the production of small-scale industries. The analysis methods applied in this research are average growth rate, multiple linear regression with ordinary least squares, and SWOT analysis.
The findings of this research indicate that the average economic growth was 4.78 % per annum. The business of small-scale industries increased by 10.24 % per annum on the average. The labor force increased by 20.10 % per annum the average. The investment increased by 38,69 %
per annum on the average, and the production increased by 41,79 % per annum on the- average. The results of the analysis of business per unit indicate that investment increased by 25.72 % per annum on the average, the
production increased by 24,86 % per annum on the average, and labor force increased by 2.06 % per annum on the average. The results of OLS regression indicate that the investment increased by 1 %, influencing the production increase by 0,722 %. The labor force and production of the
previous year influenced the production increase but the influence was not significants. SWOT analysis indicates that the internal and external factors had influence on the development of small-scale industries in the Ambon
Municipality.
