DAMPAK EKONOMI PEMBEBANAN TARIP PADA GULA IMPOR TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN MASYARAKAT DI INDONESIA

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mencari besarnya pengaruh kebijaksanaan impor gula pasir terhadap kesejahteraan produsen dan konsumen, dalam kajian ini kesejahteraan ini diukur dari kerugian bobot coati (dead weight loss) yang terjadi sebagai akibat dari pembebanan tarif, sedangkan besarnya dead weight loss ini dapat dilihat dari kajian terhadap respon fungsi penawaran dan fungsi permintaan akan komoditi gula dengan suatu asumsi bahwa bentuk fungsi permintaan dan penawaran tersebut adalah linier sehingga dalam kajian dapat diperoleh besarnya elastisitas harga atas permintaan dan elastisitas harga atas penawaran.
The objeOtive of this study is to find out the magnitude of inipOrt sugar policy on the welfare of both the consumers and producers. In this study the welfare was assessed by means dead weight loss due to tariff exempt. The magnitude of dead weight loss can be understood through the study on the assumption that the shape of supply and demand functions is lenear so that through such study the researcher was 'able to find out the magnitude of supply and demand of price elasticity. Analyses in this thesis were more directed to the global perspective rather than matters dealing with micro economy.
