Research related to acceptance of information technology has already well developed. The present research extends and tests an acceptance model in order to investigate determinant factors that influence user acceptance of National Single Window for Investment (NSWi) in Provincial Offices in Indonesia. This study combines a theoretical extension of Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) with Institutional Factors purposed by Lewist et al. (2003). The extended model was tested using cross sectional data collected by involving 32 respondents from 17 provincial governments. By using Partial Least Square (PLS) path modeling, the finding of this study supported the hypotheses that Performance Experience, Social Influence, and Facilitating Condition has positive influence on Behavior Intention to use the system. In addition, Experience and Perceived Top Management Commitment has indirect influence on Behavioral Intention to use the system through Performance Expectation. However, the hypotheses that Perceived Local Government Commitment and Effort Expectancy have influence on Behavioral Intention are not supported. These findings give policy recommendation in decision making related to evaluation of the NSWi. Moreover, the findings are also purposed to advance theory of user acceptance using information technology in government areas and contribute for future research aimed at improving understanding of user behavior.
