The purpose of this research is to provide that investment opportunity set (IDS) to have influence to stock price. To finding stronger and consistency evidence be added accounting procedure choice moderating variable. Testable proposition relating this research as fallows:
1. IDS is influence to stock price.
2. Accounting procedure choice as moderating IDS is significant influence to
stock price.
Data used in this research is annual financial statements and note to financial statements of non- financial or banking firms listed on Jakarta Stock Exchange. They are derived from Capital Market Reference Centre (PPRM) from 1998 to 2001 period of time. The collecting of data is purposive sampling method Statistical tools used are common analysis factor and simple regression.
The result of this research shows that there is an influence IDS to stock price, and negative correlation directed. (F = 16,466; R = 0,505; If = 0,255; t = - 4,508 ; P < 0,001). The result of second alternative hypothesis shows that there is a significantly influence IDS to stock price with moderating accounting procedure choice.
