Pengaruh Penghasilan Terhadap Efektivitas Kinerja Kepala Perangkat Daerah Kota Yogyakarta Tahun 2003

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk rnenguji secara empiris pengaruh penghasilan, yang terdiri dari kornpensasi ekstrinsik langsung, kompensasi ekstrinsik tidak langsung dan kornpensasi ekstrinsik non finansial terhadap efektivitas kinerja kepala perangkat daerah. Sarnpel penelitian diambil dari populasi kepala perangkat daerah Kota Yogyakarta, khususnya para kepala perangkat daerah sesuai PP No. 84 Tahun 2000, yang meliputi Sekretaris Daerah, Kepala Dinas, Kepala Kantor, Kepala Badan, Carnat dan Lurah.
Data dikurnpulkan dengan rnetode wawancara dan pengirirnan kuesioner secara langsung ke instansi-insatansi yang terkait, dengun jumlah responden 70 orang. Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah individu.
Teknik pengujian hipotesis yang digunakan adalah multiple regression untuk mengetahui pengaruh ketiga variabel independen secara simultan (kompensasi ekstrinsik langsung, kompensasi ekstrinsik tidak langsung, dan kornpensasi ekstrinsik non finansial) terhadap satu variabel dependen (efektivitas kineIja kepala perangkat daerah). Sedangkan untuk mengetahui masing-masing pengaruh satu variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen digunakan simple regression. Sojiware yang digunakan adalah SPSS versi 10.0
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penghasilan tidak berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas kinerja kepala perangkat daerah
The purpose of this research is to examine empirically the influence of income (direct extrinsic compensation, indirect extrinsic compensation, and non-financial extrinsic compensation) on effectiveness of the local government staff headÂ’s performance. Sample of this research are taken from the population of the local government staff heads of Yogyakarta City Municipal, especially heads of local government staff according to Central Government's Rules No. 84 Year 2000 (PP No. 84 Th 2000). They are Municipal Secretary (Sekretaris Daerah), Head of Dinas (Kepala Dinas), Head of Office (Kepala Kantor), Head of Badan (Kepala Badan), Camat and Lurah.
Data were collected by survey of interview and questionnaires. Respondents were participated in this research are seventy. The analysis unit that is used is individual.
A multiple regression technique was applied to analyze the influence of three independent variables simultaneously (direct extrinsic compensation, indirect extrinsic compensation, and non-financial 'extrinsic compensation) on dependent variable (effectiveness of the local government staff head's performance). While to examine each influence of the independent variables on the dependent variable was applied the simple regression. The software that used is SPSS version 10.0.
Results indicate that there is no influence of income on effectiveness of the local government staff head's performance.
