ANALISIS STRUKTUR, KINERJA DAN KEBIJAKAN INDUSTRI TEPUNG TERIGU DI INDONESIA PASCA PAKET KEBIJAKAN JUNI 1993 PERIODE: 1993-2005

Penelitian ini memiliki dua tujuan, yang pertama untuk menganalisis struktur dan kinerja industri tepung terigu di indonesia pasca paket kebijakan ekonomi juni 1993. Tujuan yang kedua adalah menganalisis faktor-faktor determinan struktur industri dan kinerja masing-masing perusahaan di dalam industri tepung terigu di Indonesia periode 1993-2005. Data yang digunakan adalah data industri tepung terigu (KBLUI 15321) yang diterbitkan oleh BPS. Data tersebut di pool dari periode 1993-2005. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif qualitatif untuk menganalisis struktur dan kinerja industri tepung terigu. Sedangkan analisis faktor determinan menggunakan persamaan simultan. Persamaan simultan ini diselesaikan dengan 2SLS dengan spesifikasi fixed effect model. Dari penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa struktur industri tepung terigu di Indonesia selama periode 1993-2005 telah berubah dari monopoli menjadi oligopoli. Selain itu diketahui pula bahwa struktur industri tepung terigu di Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh pertumbuhan industri, skala ekonomi, kebutuhan kapital dan kinerja masing-masing perusahaan di dalam industri. Sedangkan kinerja masing-masing perusahaan di dalam industri tepung terigu dipengaruhi oleh pangsa pasar, intensitas impor dan produktifitas tenaga kerja. This research has two objectives, firstly is to analyze the structure and performances of he wheat flour industry in Indonesia post economic policy package of June 1993. Secondly is to analyze the factors determined the structure and performance of every firms in the Indonesia's wheat flour industry in 1993-2005. This research use the pooled data collected from KBLUI 15321 published by BPS from 1993 to 2005. The structure and performance of wheat flour industry are analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis. In the other hand, the determinant factors are analyzed by simultaneous equation using th Two Step Least Square method with Fixed Effect Model specification. this research conclude that firstly, the structure of Indonesia's wheat flou industry from 1993 to 2005 is swifting from monopoly to oligopoly. Secondly, the structure and performance of Indonesia's wheat flour industry is determined by the industrial growth, economic scale, capital requirement and the performance of each firm in the industry. Last but not least, the performance of he firms in the industry is determined by market share, import intensity and labor productivity.Key Words : Wheat Flour, SCP, Simultaneous Equation, 2SLS, Fixed Effect Model
