The Evaluation of ERP Implementation in Pt. Sari Husada, Yogyakarta by Using SDLC Approach

ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) has been widely implemented nowadays in several industries and by many large companies. And, one of product of ERP is SAP that is widely used by many companies. The aim of ERP is that to coordinate the business process within the company as a whole through integrating the business process with the accessible data in one database, so the business process will be standardized and controllable. Beside, the ERP also will help the management in decision making process.
The aim of this research is to analyze the development process in implementing ERP system in PT. Sari Husada by using SDLC (System Life Development Cycle) approach. By using this approach, the researcher gets the information in detail related to the steps the company took in implementing the ERP. The data is collected through the deep interview with some correspondences from the company itself. And the result of the research has shown that the system development that is implemented in PT. Sari Husada was adopted from ASAP (Accelerated SAP) so it make them easier in implementing it. In addition, PT. Sari Husada is one of the large companies that successfully implemented ERP.
