Analisis Pengaruh Modal Kerja dan Tenaga Kerja Terhadap Produksi Pada Industri Kecil (studi Kasus: Sentra Industri Telur asin Di Kecamatan Brebes dan Kecamatan Ketanggungan, Kabupaten Brebes Tahun 2010)

Industri kecil merupakan salah satu industri yang memiliki potensi untuk memajukan perekonomian daerah. Industri telur asin adalah salah satu industri kecil di Kabupaten Brebes yang berpotensi untuk lebih berkembang dan maju karena mempunyai ciri khas tersendiri dari produknya. Untuk mengembangkan industri ini diperlukan penggalian informasi untuk mengetahui permasalahan yang ada. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan data yang lebih rinci dari industri kecil telur asin khususnya dalam bidang produksi yang merupakan landasan utama dalam suatu usaha.
Penelitian dilakukan pada 30 unit usaha kecil telur asin yang terdapat di Kecamatan Ketanggungan dan Kecamatan Brebes, Kabupaten Brebes pada tahun 2010. Pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor produksi modal kerja dan tenaga kerja serta lama usaha terhadap hasil produksi telur asin. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linear Berganda dengan metode OLS (Ordinary Least Squares).
Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi diketahui bahwa faktor modal kerja, tenaga kerja yang diukur dengan Jam Orang Kerja (JOK), dan lama usaha berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil produksi telur asin. Baik faktor produksi modal kerja dan tenaga kerja menunjukkan hubungan positif terhadap hasil produksi telur asin, sedangkan lama usaha menunjukkan hubungan negatif terhadap hasil produksi telur asin. Hasil analisis retun to scale menunjukkan bahwa produksi telur asin bersifat increasing return to scale.
Small industry is one of the industry that has the potential to improve the local economy. Telur asin industry is one of the small industries in Kabupaten Brebes, has the potential to develop into a more advanced industry because the products have their own characteristics. To develop this industry, researcher need to gather the necessary information to investigate the existing problems. The purpose of this study is to obtain more detailed data from telur asin small industry, especially in the production division, which is the main process in a business.
This study was conducted on 30 units of telur asin small industries in Kecamatan Ketanggungan and Kecamatan Brebes, Kabupaten Brebes in 2010. This study used purposive sampling method. This study intended to analyze the influence of production factors of capital, labor and business age on the telur asin production. This study used Multiple Linear Regression with the OLS (Ordinary Least Squares) method as the analytical tool.
Based on the result of the regression analysis, this study found that the working capital and labor as measured by the working hours, and the business age are significantly influences the production of telur asin. Both production factor, working capital and labor, show a positive influence on the telur asin production, while the business age show a negative influence on the telur asin production. The results also indicate that the production are following the pattern of increasing returns to scale.
