Analisis spasial industri besar menengah Jawa Timur: studi kasus koridor utara selatan tahun 1990 - 2001

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis terjadinya fenomena koridor Utara-Selatan di Jawa Timur pada tahun 1990-2001. Untuk menguji dan menganalisis fenomena tersebut digunakan Indeks Entrophi Theil dan analisis regresi logsitik. Dari perhitungan yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil bahwa terjadi konsentrasi spasial yang membentuk koridor Utara-Selatan di Jawa Timur dengan variabel yang mempengaruhinya berturut-turut adalah variabel fasilitas pendukung industri (jalan tol), ketersediaan fasilitas umum (air), ketersediaan input (tenaga kerja), ketersediaan pasar (PDRB), dan biaya transportasi.
The purpose of this research is to examine and analize the North-South corridor phenomenon in East Java region during the periode 1990-2001. Theil Entrophi Index and logistic regression are used to analyze the exsisting and the factors that influence of North-South corridor. The result of this research shows that the North-South corridor is real. Some factors that influence the spatial concentration are industrial supporting facility (highway), available of public facilities (water), input resources (employment), market availability (GDRB), and cost of transportation.
