Pengujian model kesuksesan sistem informasi delone dan mclean pada sektor publik (studi kasus pada sistem informasi akuntansi perguruan tinggi BHMN Universitas Gadjah Mada)

DeLone and McLean (1992) developed a study on the success of an information system known
as the D&M Success Model. This model gained a prompt response due to its complete but simple
fatures (parsimoni) Livari (2005) used the information success model developed by DeLone and
McLean to perform a field study on a mandatory system at public sector. Such study for
SIMAKUN GAMA was carried out using the modification in Livari Model (2005) by taking out
the actual user construct because it did not have influence to other costructs. Hence, this study
used four constructs which included the system quality and information quality as the endogent
varaiable, and user satisfaction and individual impact as the exogent variable. Numbers of
sample used in as study were 120 respondents. Compiled data was analyzed using the Structural
Equation Model. The software application used for the statistic processing was AMOS 4.0. The
results showed that the system quality positively and significantly influenced the user
satisfaction, and the user satisfaction positively and significantly influenced the individual
impacts. In the future, it is required to extend respondents to the decision makers (management
leaders) of units in the university in order to obtain a better result. There are many limitations in
this study, thus it is opened for further study and discussion.
