Exploring user satisfaction with management information system (MIS) empirical study towards the user of mis in PT Bank Mandiri (persero) Tbk

The aim of this research is to test empirically the hypothesis that were developed by in the
Seddon & Kiew (1996) model related to the relationship and impact of System Quality,
Information Quality, Importance of the System and Usefulness towards User Satisfaction in
measuring Information System (IS) success. A survey's method is conducted by collecting
questionnaires which has been developed from the previous research.
Sample that are used in this research is taken with the purposive sampling method, which are the user of Management Information System in Bank Mandiri, specifically Accounting Group, Strategic & Performance (SPM) Group and Credit Operations Group. The number of
questionnaires which are successfully collected is 34 questionnaires. The hypothesis testing was done by using the regression analysis with Ordinary Least Square method. Beside of that, this research is also aimed to find out whether there is a significant difference between the satisfaction at the moment or Current Condition with their Expectation. A gap analysis is done by using the Paired Samples-T Test.
The result of this research has shown that System Quality, Information Quality, Importance of the System and Usefulness have a positive significant impact towards User Satisfaction.
However, Information Quality doesn't have a positive significant impact towards Usefulness
although it has a positive significant impact towards User Satisfaction.
