This study aims to give a clear picture about the relationship between CSR activities engaged by a company and the occurrence of budget slack in its budgeting scheme. An investigation of the detailed picture of CSR and budget slack is being provided to gain necessary information to conduct the analysis. The result of the analysis is consistent with the expectation, which is companies decision to engage with CSR activities will not result in budget slack.
