This research contains of the possibilities of using Balanced Scorecard as performance measurement at Deutsche Bank Group Jakarta Branch. The goal of this research is for knowing the performance of the company if measured by Balanced Scorecard. In the banking industry the development of new products and services complexity will increase the important of performance measurement system. It is not enough for the managers to evaluate the performance from financial perspective only, the manager also need the nonfinancial information such as the product innovations and the customer satisfactions to be evaluated. This is where the tools like Balanced Scorecard can give such information for the managers, the Balanced Scorecard measures the company performance on financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business processes perspective, and also learning and growth perspective.
The method of this research is by analyzing the performance of Deutsche Bank using the four perspective of Balanced Scorecard. In this research, the data are gained by conducting interviews and analyzing documents of the company that have been exist such as the banks routine surveys, and the published financial statement of the bank period 2007-2008. The result of this research shows that the Balanced Scorecard is possible to be implemented as the performance measurement system at Deutsche Bank Group Jakarta Branch.
