Pengaruh Pendidikan Dasar 9 Tahun Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Di Indonesia tahun 2003-2009

Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model yang pernah digunakan oleh Lucas yang digunakan untuk meneliti pertumbuhan ekonomi di Amerika yang diterapkan dan dikembangkan oleh McMahon (Lucas, 1988: 17-19; McMahon, 2002: 4). Penelitian ini akan menggunakan model Lucas di atas untuk meneliti peran kebijakan pendidikan dasar 9 tahun terhadap perekonomian Indonesia. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan data panel (pooled) selama periode 2003 sampai 2009 dengan 30 wilayah propinsi.
Dari hasil regresi model terpilih, menunjukkan bahwa variabel Pembentukan Modal Tetap Bruto (PMTB) dan jumlah penduduk dengan tingkat pendidikan 9 tahun positif dan signifikan menjelaskan Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) di Indonesia. Sedangkan variable jumlah tenaga kerja dengan tingkat pendidikan 9 tahun dan jumlah jam kerja tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan menjelaskan Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) di Indonesia.
The model used in this study is a model that was used by Lucas to examine the economic growth in the U.S. are applied and developed by McMahon (Lucas, 1988: 17-19; McMahon, 2002: 4). This research used LucasÂ’s model in above to examinate the impact of nine-year compulsory education regulation on IndonesiaÂ’s economic. This research will used pooled data during 2003 until 2009 with 30 provinces areas.
From the result of the chosen model, showed the positif and significance result of the variables of Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) correlation between nine-year compulsory education and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Indonesia. However, the variable of workers with nine-year compulsory education didnÂ’t show significance or positive effect to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Indonesia.
