Dampak penerapan Good corporate governance terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penerapan Good Corporate Governance, Komposisi Aset Perusahaan, Kesempatan Pertumbuhan terhadap Kinerja Perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan regresi berganda untuk untuk mengevaluasi hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara Good Corporate Governance dengan Kinerja Perusahaan. CGPI (Corporate Governance Perception Index) tahun 2005-2007 yang dihasilkan dari survey yang dilakukan IICG (The Institude for Corporate Governance) digunakan untuk mengukur implementasi Good Corporate Governance, Tobin's Q sebagai ukuran kinerja pasar perusahaan, ROE (Return On Equity) NPM (Net Profit Margin) EPS (Earning Per Share) sebagai ukuran kinerja operasional perusahaan.
Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara Good Corporate Governance dengan Tobin's Q dan juga tidak adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara komposisi aktiva dan kesempatan pertumbuhan terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Namun, penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara Good Corporate Governance dengan kinerja operasional perusahaan (ROE, NPM, EPS) Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Good Corporate Governance hanya berdampak terhadap kinerja operasional, sedangkan pasar membutuhkan waktu untuk merespon dampak dari penerapan Good Corporate Governance.
This research aim to analyse the influence of Good Corporate Governance, Company Asset, Opportunity Growth to Company Performance. This study employs a multiple regression to test the hypothesis that Corporate Governance and Corporate Performance are positively related. The rating of Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) for 2005-2007 by The Indonesian Institute for Corporate Governance (IICG) is use to measure the Corporate Governance implementation, and Tobin's Q as a market performance measurement, and Return On Equity (ROE) Net Profit Margin (NPM) Earning Per Share (EPS) as operational performance measurement.
The analysis show that there is a no significant relationship between Corporate Governance and tobin's q no significant between company aset, opportunity growth and company performance. But there is a significant positive relationship between Corporate Governance and operational performance (ROE, NPM, EPS). It's means that Good Corporate Governance implementation affect the operational performance, but musket does not respond the implementation of Good Corporate Governance immediately.
