Pengaruh Kesempatan Pembelajaran Organisasi, Kualitas Pengajaran, dan Orientasi Profesional Pada Hubungan Antara Partisipasi Dosen Dalam Pengambilan Keputusan Dengan Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa

Hubungan antara pertisipasi dengan kinerja manajerial merupakan topic yang menarik tidak hanya dalam bidang bisnis, tetapi juga dalam bidang pendidikan. Namun penelitian dalam bidang pendidikan masih sangat terbatas jumlahnya dan belum konsisten hasilnya. Penelitian ini menguji hubungan antara partisipasi dosen dalam pengambilan keputusan dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa, dengan variabel intervening kesempatan pembelajaran organisasi, kualitas pengajaran, dan orientasi profesional. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan cara mengirimkan kuesioner sebanyak 500 lembar kepada para dosen pada perguruan tinggi swasta di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dengan teknik purposive sampling. Besarnya response rate penelitian adalah sebesar 34,4% (172 buah), tingkat unusable rate kuesioner penelitian sebesar 16,86% (29 buah) dan usable rate sebesar 83,31% (143 buah). Sebelum dilakukan penyebaran kuesioner, peneliti melakukan pilot test untuk analisis awal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif antara partisipasi dosen dalam pengambilan keputusan dengan basil belajar mahasiswa sebesar 0,172 dengan p-value 0,012. Sedangkan hubungan tidak langsung antara partisipasi deriearriragil belajar mahasiswa diuji dengan koefisien path. Koefisien path partisipasi terhadap kesempatan pembelajaran organisasi sebesar 0,224. Koefisien path kesempatan pembelajaran organisasi terhadap kualitas pengajaran sebesar sebesar 0,242. Koefisien path kualitas pengajaran terhadap orientasi profesional sebesar 0,243. Koefisien path orientasi profesional terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa sebesar 0,178. Sedangkan pengaruh variabel moderating organisasi pengajaran, kualitas pengajaran dan orientasi profesional terhadap hubungan antara partisipasi dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa sebesar 0,183 dengan signifikan sebesar 0,000. Dalam penelitian ini dosen jurusan akuntansi dan non akuntansi menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dalam berpartisipasi dengan ditunjukkan dengan kalkulasi nilai Z (-3,827) lebih rendah dari nilai Z table sebesar 43,19.
The relationship between participation and managerial performance was an interesting topic not only in business area, but also in education. Research in educational area, however, was still very limited in number and inconsistent in results. This study tested the relationship between the lecturers' participation in the decision making and the students' study results, with the organizational learning opportunities, the teaching quality, and profesional orientation as the intervening variables. The data of the study was collected by sending 500 questionnaires to the lecturers of private higher educational institutions in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta using the purposive sampling technique. The response rate of the study was 34.4% (172), the unusable rate of the study's questionnaire was 16.86% (29) and its usable rates was 83.31% (143). Before the questionnaires were distributed, the author performed a pilot test for preliminary analysis. The results of the study showed that there was positive relationship between the lecturers' participation in the decision making and the students' study results in the amount of 0.172. whit p-value of 0.012. Where as the indirect relationships between participation and students' study results were tested using the path coefficients. The path coefficient of participation toward organizational learning opportunities was 0.224. The path coefficient of organizational learning toward teaching quality was 0.242. The path coefficient of teaching quality toward profeessional orientation was 0.178. Whereas the effects of moderating variablesie. the teaching organization, teaching quality, and professional orientation on the ralationship between participation and student's study results was 0.183, with the significance level of 0.000. In this study the lecturers from accounting and non accounting departments showed significant differences in their participation that were shown by the lower value of Z (-3,827) as compared with the Z table (43,19)
