Determinan Permintaan Ekspor CPO Indonesia: Pendekatan Error Correction Model

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi volume ekspor CPO Indonesia. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data time series yang dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber seperti FAO, Bank Dunia dan BPS dengan kurun waktu antara tahun 1981 hingga 2010. Penelitian ini menggunakan Model Error Correction Model (ECM) untuk menentukan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi volume ekspor CPO Indonesia baik dalam jangka pendek maupun dalam jangka panjang. Variabel-variabel yang digunakan dalam model tersebut antara lain adalah harga CPO dunia, harga minyak kedelai dunia, GDP perkapita riil dunia, nilai tukar dan kuantitas produksi CPO Indonesia. Dalam jangka panjang, harga CPO dunia berpengaruh secara negatif terhadap volume ekspor CPO Indonesia, sedangkan kuantitas produksi CPO Indonesia dan GDP perkapita riil dunia berpengaruh secara positif terhadap volume ekspor CPO Indonesia. Dalam jangka pendek, harga CPO dunia berpengaruh secara negatif dan signifikan.
The goal of this study is to evaluate the determinants of IndonesiaÂ’s CPO export demand. Data collecting obtained from various sources such as FAO, World Bank dan BPS covering from 1981 to 2010. This study uses Error Correction Model (ECM) to determines the factors that affect the volume of IndonesiaÂ’s CPO exports both in short term and in the long term. Variables used in the model include the world CPO price, world price of soybean oil, the worldÂ’s real per capita GDP, exchange rate and production quantity of Indonesian CPO. In the long term, world CPO price negatively affect the Indonesian CPO export volume, while the production quantity of Indonesian CPO and world real GDP per capita positively affects the Indonesian CPO export volume. In the short term, the world price of CPO has negative and significant effect.
