TINJAUAN KELAYAKAN PENYESUAIAN TARIF PELAYANAN JASA KAPAL DAN BARANG DILINGKUNGAN PT (PERSERO) PELABUHAN INDONESIA

PT (Persero) Pelabuhan Indonesia I yang memiliki beberapa segmen usaha, diperlakukan sebagai pusat laba dan telah melakukan penyesuaian tarif pelayanan jasa kapal dan barang dilingkungan PT (Persero) Pelabuhan Indonesia I, dalam kajian ini dinilai layak dan pengaruhnya sangat kecil terhadap dampak beban pengguna jasa untuk
biaya kapal dan harga barang serta mempunyai pengaruh langsung terhadap peningkatan kinerja keuangan perusahaan.
Tarif jasa kepelabuhanan harus dapat menutup seluruh biaya dalam arti memberikan tingkat laba yang wajar kepada perusahaan agar mampu mengembalikan investasi, harus dapat menumbuhkan perusahaan dalam hal mampu mendorong
peningkatan pelayanan dan produktivitas pelabuhan serta dapat menunjang pertumbuhan ekonomi regional maupun nasional atau mendorong persaingan perdagangan dalam
menghadapi era-globalisasi.Fungsi tarif jasa kepelabuhanan merupakan jantung bagi kelangsungan hidup pengusahaan pelabuhan dengan kata lain sebagai alat pengendali untuk menjamin dan mendorong penggunaan sumber daya secara optimal, dapat juga berfungsi sebagai alat manajemen untuk pengendalian operasional dan pengembarigan usaha kepelabuhanan dalam hal menjamin pengguna jasa mendapatkan pelayanan dan kepastian benisaha.Sehubungan dengan hal diatas, perlu direkomendasikan sebagai berikut :
"Untuk menjamin kelangsungan dan pengembangan usaha serta untuk memenuhi tuntutan permintaan pengguna jasa kepelabuhan, maka penyesuaian tarif jasa kepelabuhanan dinilai layak dan wajar
PT (Persero) Pelabuhan Indonesia I having several business segments is considered to be the profit center that has adjusted the ship service rate and the goods in the
environment of PT (Persero) Pelabuhan Indonesia I. In the study it is feasible and there is small impact of the service charge of the ship cost and the good price that has direct impact on the increase in the financial performance of the company.The service rate of the dockyard has to be able to cover all expense in terms of
providing the company with a proper profit level that it is able to obtain sufficient return on investment. It has also to pursue a growth by improving its service and productivity and to support the regional economic growth of to support the trading competition in facing
globalization era.The function of the service of the dockyard represent the heart of the survival of
the dockyard company. In other words, it serves as controlling tool to warrant and encourage the use of the resource optimally. Additionally, it serves as management and operational controlling instruments of the dockyard development in warranting the service users and business certainty. Considering the above mentioned facts, it is recommended that:"To warrant the survival and the development of the business and to satisfy the
demand of the dockyard service users, the adjustment of the dockyard service charge rate is considered to be feasible.
