Peran Self-Esteem dan Sistem Reward terhadap Hubungan Antara Kepuasan Kerja dan Kinerja Individual

2008 | Skripsi | S1 Extention - AccountingPenelitian ini menguji hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dan kinerja individual dengan self-esteem sebagai variable intervening dan system reward sebagai variable pemoderasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan bukti empiris tentang ada tidaknya pengaruh job satisfaction terhadap self-esteem, self-esteem terhadap kinerja individual, kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja individual, dan system reward terhadap kinerja individual. Responden penelitian ini adalah karyawan perusahaan dengan level menengah ke atas di DIY. Data dikumpulkan dengan penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung. Data yang sudah dikumpulkan diproses dengan analisis path dan uji interaksi. Hasil dari penelitian ini, ada pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap self-esteem, kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja individual, dan system reward terhadap kinerja individual. Penelitian ini juga membuktikan bahwa self-esteem dapat memediasi antara kepuasan kerja dan kinerja individual, dan system reward dapat memoderasi hubungan anatara kepuasan kerja dan kinerja individual Kata kunci: kepuasan kerja, self-esteem, system reward, kinerja individual.
This research examines the relationship between job satisfaction on the job performance and self-esteem as a intervening variable and reward system as a moderating variable. The purposes of this research are to find empirical evidence about the presence / the absence of the effects of job satisfaction and self esteem, self esteem and job performance, job satisfaction and job performance, and reward system and job performance. The respondents of this research are middle to high level company employees in DIY. The Data are collected by distribution questionnaire directly. The data that has been collected will be proceed by path analysis and interaction test. The results from this research, there are effects of job satisfaction and self-esteem, job satisfaction and job performance, and reward system and job performance. This research can also make a proof that self-esteem can mediate between job satisfaction and job performance, and reward system can moderating the relationship between job satisfaction and job performance.
