EVALUASI PERSEPSI DAN PRAKTEK NASABAH BANK MANDIRI DI JAKARTA DALAM BERINVESTASI REKSA DANA

Reksa dana diperkenalkan untuk mempermudah pengelolaan investasi, khususnya bagi investor individu. Penelitian reksa dana ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tujuan nasabah dalam berinvestasi di reksa dana, faktor-faktor yang

mempengaruhi nasabah di dalam memilih investasi reksa dana, selain berinvestasi di reksa dana apakah nasabah juga berinvestasi secara langsung di pasar modal seperti pada pasar saham, asal sumber informasi pasar modal yang diperoleh nasabah, dan data personal dari nasabah yang dilakukan survei. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei menggunakan kuisioner yang telah dirancang oleh Asean University Network, 2004. Development and performance of mutual funds in five Asian Countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. Bangkok: Asean University Network Collaborative Research Programme in Economic Security, yang menjadi obyek penelitian adalah nasabah Bank Mandiri di Jakarta. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, 65% (enam puluh lima persen) nasabah

Bank Mandiri telah mempersepsikan dirinya secara benar sesuai konsep time horizon produk reksa dana yang dianjurkan dalam berinvestasi. Jangka waktu investasi yang optimal untuk mendapatkan hasil investasi reksa dana yang optimal adalah 2-3 tahun Tingkat pemahaman nasabah Bank Mandiri dalam berinvestasi di reksa dana baik sekali, mereka tetap menempatkan kinerja menejer investasi yang profesional di urutan pertama, karena mereka beranggapan menejer profesional yang baik akan memberikan kinerja reksa dana yang baik dalam ekspektasi pendapatan yang diharapkan. Hasil Penelitian 50,86% (lima puluh point delapan puluh enam persen) nasabah Bank Mandiri berpendapat masih

terfokus kepada reksa dana berbasis obligasi dan mengharapkan imbal hasil yang tetap dan mengharapkan nominal pokok investasi kembali. Dalam memilih reksa

dana yang dibeli mereka akan memprioritaskan kepada produk reksa dana yang dapat memberikan keuntungan yang mereka harapkan dan selektif dalam memilih menejer investasi yang memiliki kinerja yang baik. Sedangkan harga murah dari

reksa dana tersebut menjadi prioritas terakhir bagi mereka. Dari data survei bahwa adanya perimbangan pemilihan reksa dana sektor pemerintah 55,82% dan reksa dana sektor swasta 44,18% cukup baik bagi perkembangan industri reksa dana ke depan.

Reksa Dana is introduced with the objective of facilitating investment processing, particularly that of the individual investor. This survey on Reksa Dana is intended to find out the purpose of customers who invest in Reksa Dana, the factors that influence them in their choice, whether they also make direct investment in the capital market such as in the stock market, the source of information they get on capital market, and personal data of the customers

mentioned in the survey. The method applied in this survey is through questionnaires, which is designed by Asean University Network, 2004, \"Development and performance of

mutual funds in five Asian Countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. Bangkok: Asean University Network Collaborative Research Programme in Economic Security\". The object of survey is the customers of Bank Mandiri, Jakarta. Based on the survey results, 65% (sixty-five percent) of Bank Mandiri customers has already made the correct personal perception according to the time

horizon concept, a Reksa Dana product proposed for investment. The proposed optimum investment period to obtain the optimum result of Reksa Dana investment is 2 to 3 years. It appears that the level of understanding of Bank

Mandiri customers regarding investment in Reksa Dana is quite good. They still place the performance of a professional investment manager in the first order, as

they consider a good professional manager may yield a good Reksa Dana performance within the projected income according to expectation. Survey result shows that 50.86% (fifty point eighty-six percent) of Bank Mandiri customers still focus on Reksa Dana that is based on obligation and expect a regular return and look forward to getting back their initial nominal investment. In their selection of

Reksa Dana products to purchase they put their priority on products that may yield the expected profit. They are quite selective in choosing the appropriate investment manager with a reputation in performance. Whereas low priced Reksa

Dana product becomes their end priority. The survey data show that there is a balance between the option of government Reksa Dana, 55.82%, and that of private sector Reksa Dana, 44.18%, which is quite good for the future development of Reksa Dana industry.
