Analisis Pengaruh EVA, PBV, dan Rasio-Rasio Profitabilitas terhadap Return Saham

Sebelum melakukan investasi, seorang investor harus mengetahui kondisi perusahaan tersebut. Salah satu alat yang dapat digunakan oleh investor adalah laporam keuangan. Laporan keuangan tersebut kemudian diolah menjadi rasio-rasio dan indikator lain yang menunjukan kinerja perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh EVA (Economic Value Added), PBV (Price to Book Value) dan rasio-rasio profitabilitas terhadap return saham dimana rasio-rasio profitabilitas diukur dengan ROA (Return on Assets), EPS (Earning per Share) and OPM (Operating Profit Margin). Return saham dalam penelitian ini berasal dari perusahaan-perusahaan yang terdaftar di BEJ selama tahun 2001 sampai dengan 2005. Empat puluh perusahaan dipilih sebagai sampel dengan menggunakan purposive sampling method dan untuk mengolah data digunakan multiple linier regression.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ROA, EPS dan PBV adalah signifikan sedangkan OPM and EVA tidak signifikan. Before investing money, the investor need to understand about company performance. One of the tools that can be used by the investor is financial report. This financial report can be made become ratios and other indicator that show performance of company.The purpose of this research is to know the influence of EVA (Economic Value Added), PBV (Price to Book Value) and profitability ratios to stock return where the profitability ratios is measured with ROA (Return on Assets), EPS (Earning per Share) and OPM (Operating Profit Margin).The stock return in this research are from manufacturing companies which are listed in BEJ during 2001 to 2005. Forty companies were defined as sample by using purposive sampling method and multiple linier regression were conducted to analyze data. The result show that ROA, EPS and PBV are significant but OPM and EVA are not significant.
