Pengaruh Pembentukan Komite Audit Terhadap Koefisien Respon Laba(Studi Kasus pada PerusahaanManufaktur yang Terdaftar di BEJ)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pembentukan komite audit terhadap koefisien respon laba. Penelitian ini menggunkana paired sample t-test untuk melihat perbedaaan koefisien respon laba sebelum dan sesudah pembentukan komite audit. Data yang digunkana dalam penelitian ini adalah 10 perusahaan manufaktur yang mebentuk komite audit pada tahun 2005 dan 24 perusahaan manufaktur yang membentuk komite audittahun 2006 yang terdaftar di BEJ dan laporan keuangannya tersedia lengkap dari tahun 2003-2008. penelitian ini menggunakan Cumulative Abnormal return sebagai variable dependen, Unexcpected earnings sebagai variable independen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan komite audit berpengaruh signifikan terhadap koefisien respon laba yang ditunjukkan melalui uji beda mean sehingga komite audit berhasil meningkatkan kualitas laba yang dilaporkan.
This study aims to determine the relationship between the formation of audit committes with its earnings response coefficients. This research uses paired sample t-test to see differences in Earning response coefficients before and after the formation of audit committees. Data committees who used to observe is 10 manufacturing companies that established audit commitee in year 2005 and 24 manufacturing companies year 2006 listed in BEJ and complete its financial statements avaible form 2003-2008. The study uses Cumulative Abnormal Return as Dependent variable, as independent variable is unexcpected earnings. The results of this research indicates that audit committe establishment has significant influence to the earnings response coefficients which is indicate through the difference mean test, so the audit committee is able to improve the quality which is reported.
