Evaluasi Penerapan Teknologi Informasi: Studi pada Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis Universitas Gadjah Mada

Organisasi perlu mengadakan evaluasi terhadap kinerja IT department, meningat konsumsi sumber daya IT department yang cukup besar. Penelitian ini mengkaji model dan instrumen untuk mengevaluasi penerapan teknologi informasi dan mengusulkan model evaluasi IT department pada objek penelitian, Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis Universitas Gadjah Mada. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesuksesan penerapan teknologi informasi di Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis Universitas Gadjah Mada. Tiga faktor yang mempengaruhi adalah Quality of Information Technology Service (QITS), Quality of End-User Computing (QEUC) and User Self-Sufficiency (USS).
Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 250 mahasiwa Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis Universitas Gadjah Mada sebagai responden dengan menggunakan purposive sampling method. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan metode regresi linier berganda dan metode regresi linier sederhana untuk menguji hubungan antara ketiga faktor di atas dengan IT Success (ITS).
Terdapat lima hipotesis yang diuji secara empiris dan hasilnya dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketiga faktor yang diuji dalam lima hipotesis tersebut memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kesuksesan penerapan teknologi informasi. Jadi, kesuksesan penerapan teknologi di Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis Universitas Gadjah Mada tergantung pada pengembangan dan perbaikan kualitas layanan teknologi informasi, kualitas End-User Computing dan User Self-Sufficiency untuk menigkatkan kinerja IT department.
IT department is under the organization's pressure to prove its existence due to its large resources consumption. This study reviews the model and instrument used in the previous study for evaluating IT Department and proposes the model for evaluating IT Department in research object, Faculty of Economics and Business Gadjah Mada University. The objective of this study is to analyze factors that influence the success of IT implementation in Faculty of Economics and Business Gadjah Mada University. They were three Factors, Quality of Information Technology Service (QITS), Quality of End-User Computing (QEUC) and User Self-Sufficiency (USS).
Using primary data, this research utilize the students of Faculty of Economics and Business Gadjah Mada University as respondents. The 250 students were decided by purposive sampling method. Multiple linear regressions and simple linear regression used for hypothesis testing to analyze relationship between the three factors above with IT Success(ITS).
Five hypotheses are empirically tested and the result concludes that the three factors have significantly effect on the success of information technology implementation. Thus, the success of IT implementation in Faculty of Economics and Business Gadjah Mada University depend on the improvement and development of IT Service Quality and End-User Computing Quality as well as User Self-Sufficiency in order to enhance the performance of IT departments.
