Pengaruh Komitmen Organisasional, Kepusan Kerja, dan Keperilakuan Etis Terhadap Keinginan Berpindah (Studi Empiris Pada Profesional Sistem Informasi)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan solusi terhadap
ketidakkonsistenan hasil penelitian yang tclah dilakukan olch peneliti sebelumnya untuk sampel profcsional sistcm informasi dan menemukan bukti empiris mengenai pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap komitmen organisasional, menguji pengaruh komitmen organisasional terhadap keperilakuan etis serta menguji pengaruh komitmen organisasional, kepuasan kerja dan keperilakuan etis terhadap keinginan berpindah profesional sistem informasi.
Analisis penelitian dilakukan terhadap 106 profesional sistem informasi.
Ada empat variabel yang diukur dalam penelitian ini yaitu komitmen organisasional, kepuasan kerja, keperilakuan etis dan keinginan berpindah. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model persamaan struktural (Structural Equation Modelling) yang dibantu dengan aplikasi Analysis of Moment Structure dari Arbuckle ( 1997).
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif kepuasan kerja terhadap komitmen organisasional, terdapat pengaruh negatif komitmen organisasional terhadap keinginan berpindah, terdapat pengaruh positif komitmen organisasional terhadap keperilakuan etis. Kemudian hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan kepuasan kerja terhadap keinginan berpindah dan tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan keperilakuan etis terhadap keinginan berpindah. Pengujian terhadap semua hipotesis menunjukkan arah yang sesuai dengan arah yang dihipotesiskan.
Company would loose very much if competent and trained informational system professionals leave the company because the company has to start from the beginning to develop and train new informational system professionals. There was a phenomenon that the informational system has higher level of turnover intent compared with other professionals. Studies about the model of moving need showed inconsistent test result. Therefore, it needed further study.
This study was aimed to find out the solution of the inconsistency of research result carried out by previous researcher for the sample of informational system professional and also to find out the empirical proof about the effect of job satisfaction toward the organizational commitment, to test the effect of organizational commitment toward the ethical behavior, and to test the effect of organizational commitment, job satisfaction and ethical behavior to the turnover intent of informational system professional.
The research analysis was carried toward 106 informational system professionals. There were four measured variables in this study. They were organizational commitment, job satisfaction, ethical behavior and turnover intent. The data analysis was carried out by using the structural equation modeling, assisted by the application of the analysis of moment structure of Arbuckle (1997).
The result of the study showed that there was positive effect of job satisfaction toward the organizational commitment and there was negative effect of organizational commitment toward the ethical behavior. Thus, these research results showed that there was no significant effect of job satisfaction toward the turnover intent and there was no significant effect of ethical behavior toward the turnover intent. The test on all hypotheses showed appropriate direction along with what was meant.
