Penelitian ini menjelaskan pengaruh motivasional dan infonnasional partisipasi penganggaran terhadap kinerja. Pengaruh motivasional te~jadi, apabila partisipasi dalam penyusunan anggaran akan memotivasi bawahan untuk berkomitmen terhadap sasaran anggaran. Sedangkan efek infonnasional terjadi apabila partisipasi dalam penyusunan anggaran dapat mempennudah bawahan dalam memperoleh, tukar menukar dan menyebarkan infonnasi yang relevan bagi pengambilan keputusan. Pengujian terhadap model yang diajukan, yang terdiri dari empat variabel, yaitu: partisipasi penguggaran, budget goal commitment, job-relevant information, dan kinerja menggunakan software AMOS 4 oleh Arbuckle.
HasH pengujian menunjukkan bahwa goodness ojfit dapat dipenuhi secara margjinal atau model yang diajukan kurang fit. Sedangkan pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi penganggaran berpengaruh positif terhadap hudget goal commitment dan job relevant information. Pengaruh hudget goal commitment terhadap kinerja tidak didukung secara signifikan. lob-relevant information berpengaruh positif terhadap kineDa.
The study tries to explain the 'effect of the motivational and informational budgeting participation on performance. The motivational effect takes place when the participation in the budgeting motivates the subordinates to commit to the budget goals, while the informational effect takes place when the participation in the budgeting enable the subordinates to easier access, exchange, and distribute the relevant information to decision making. The test of the model using the software of AMOS 4 by Arbuckle is proposed, consisting of four variables, namely: budget participation, budget goal commitment, job-relevant information, and performance.
The results of the test indicate that the goodness of fit is marginally fulfilled by the model or the model less fit, while the test of the hypotheses shows that the budget participation gives a positive effect on the budget goal commitment and job¬relevant information. The effect of the budget goal commitment on performance is not significantly confirmed. The job-relevant information gives a positive effect to performance.
