Balanced Scorecard adalah satu diantara concept pengukuran kinerja yang bias digunakan untuk memantau aktivitas di perusahaan dan memonitor serta mengontrol konsekuensinya. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk memantau kinerja Pertamina Offshore North West Java berdasarkan empat perspektif dari Balanced Scorecard, yaitu learning and growth, internal business and process, customer perspective, and financial perspective. Penelitian menggunakan data primer, didapat lewat pendistribusian kuesioner dan wawancara, dan data sekunder, didapat dari scorecard perusahaan yang masih berdiri sendiri, laporan, dan sumber lainnya.
Pengukuran kerja seharusnya competen, oleh karena itu pengukuran kinerja yang kuat, lewat konsep Balanced Scorecard, akan memposisikan empat perspektif daripada penggunaan satu perspektif sebagai mana pengukuran kinerja tradisional lakukan. Dengan harapan bahwa penggunaan Balanced Scorecard dapat lebih memaparkan kondisi perusahaan, penelitian ini juga dimaksudkan untuk memberikan kontribusi untuk menaikkan nilai dari perusahaan dengan menyampaikan ide dari konsep Balanced Scorecard.
Balanced Scorecard is one of performance measurement that can be used by management to keep on track the activities within the company and to monitor and control the consequences. The research aimed to scrutinize the performance of Pertamina Offshore North West Java based on four perspective concepts of Balanced Scorecard, which are learning and growth, internal business and process, customer perspective, and financial perspective. The research use both primary data, collected by the questionnaire distribution and interview, and secondary data, obtained from companyÂ’s independent scorecard, report, and other sources.
Performance measurement should be strong, and that is constructing strong measurement, with concept of Balanced Scorecard, will situate all of the four perspective rather than using the only financial perspective as the traditional performance measurement does. In the hope that the use of Balanced Scorecard could better shape the condition of the company, the research also mean to give contribution to increase the value of company by delivering the idea of the concept.
