Evaluasi Tata Kelola Teknologi Informasi dengan Menggunakan Framework Cobit 5.0 (studi kasus pada universitas Gadja Mada)

Seiring meningkatnya peran teknologi informasi dibutuhkan suatu tata kelola TI yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masing-masing instansi atau perusahaan. Evaluasi perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi aktual dari pengelolaan tata kelola teknologi informasi tersebut, sehingga dapat diambil langkah-langkah perbaikan untuk proses bisnis selanjutnya.
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat kapabilitas dari tata kelola teknologi informasi pada Universitas Gadjah Mada. Proses tata kelola dan manajemen dipilih berdasarkan domain proses berdasarkan praktek manajemen VAL IT yang telah diintegrasikan ke dalam kerangka kerja COBIT 5.0. Metode yang digunakan dalam proses penilaian kapabilitas berdasarkan adopsi dari standar ISO 15504.
Penilaian kapabilitas tata kelola teknologi informasi berdasarkan COBIT 5.0 ini terdiri dari 5 domain proses utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kapabilitas tata kelola teknologi informasi Universitas Gadjah Mada berada pada tingkat/level kapabilitas 4 yaitu Predictable Process, yang artinya tingkat kapabilitas tata kelola teknologi informasinya sudah mempunyai bukti pendekatan sistematis dan keberhasilan yang signifikan pada setiap domain proses yang ditentukan namun demikian masih terdapat beberapa kelemahan berhubungan dengan proses penilaian.
The increasing role of information technology needed an IT governance in accordance with the needs of each agency or company. Evaluation needs to be conducted to determine the actual conditions of management of the information technology governance, in order to take measures for the improvement of business processes further.
This study aims to determine the level of governance capabilities of information technology investment at Gadjah Mada University. Governcance or management processes which selected are based on the VAL IT management practices that have been integrated into the framework of COBIT 5.0. The methods used in the assesment of the capabilityÂ’s process is based on the ISO 15504 which has been adopted by COBIT 5.0.
Assessment capabilities of information technology governance based on COBIT 5.0 is comprised of 5 main process domain. The results showed that the level of capability of information technology governance, Gadjah Mada University is at the rate / level of capability 4 namely Predictable Process, which means that the level of capability of governance of information technology already has evidence of a systematic approach and a significant success in each domain process specified yet still there are some disadvantages associated with the assessment process.
